Gold Medal: GAO, RENJUN, Faculty of Innovation Engineering, Bachelor of Science

Hello everyone! I am Renjun Gao, a Class of 2026 graduate from the Faculty of Innovation Engineering. It is a great honor to receive the President's Gold Medal. Looking back at my time at MUST, from independently designing a fully remote-controlled Lego bus to robotics design and control, every attempt I made is inseparable from the inclusive and nurturing environment of our alma mater. Whether piecing together mechanical parts or developing complex robotic systems, the journey of bringing ideas to life is never a solo endeavor. I am deeply grateful for the guidance of my mentors and the support of my peers. It is here at MUST that we are given the platform to explore, the courage to build from the ground up, and the freedom to turn our wildest imagination into reality.

As we step into the future, I want to borrow a line from Dr. Brown, from Back to the Future: "If you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything." May we all dedicate ourselves fully to our passions and, in a world full of challenges, build our own futures with our own hands. I wish that we, alongside our alma mater, will bravely ride the tide and explore new frontiers together! Thank you, everyone.
